  • Cruise ship is a large passenger ship designed for vacations and leisure trips on the sea or ocean.
  • Instead of just transporting people from one place to another, a cruise ship is like a floating hotel or resort. People stay on the ship for several days or weeks while it travels to different destinations.

Key features of a cruise ship:

  • Rooms (cabins) for passengers to sleep in
  • Restaurants and dining areas
  • Entertainment like shows, music, and movies
  • Facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, and spas
  • Stops at different ports (cities or islands)
Admission is generally merit-based depending on academic scores.
