His Passion for cooking started at early age than he decided to pursue his career in cooking and in 1997 he was selected for IHM .After studying for three years he was graduated in 2000 from Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Applied Nutrition Lucknow (Ministry of tourism. of govt. of India). He started his career as H.O.T (Hotel Operational Trainee ) in Hotel Great Value Dehradun, after working for various hotels and resorts in India he was looking international exposure to enhance his cooking skills at an international level and June 2002 he joined the cruise company known as Carnival Cruise Lines USA.
Chef Ram started his career with carnival cruise lines as trainee cook, and over the years his hard work , dedication and skills earned him the position of Sous Chef Staff in the world’s most popular cruise lines in the world. After spending twelve years as seaman Chef Ram decided to return India and impart the knowledge & skills what he has gain during those years . On coming back to India , Chef Ram felt that the hotel management courses conducted across the country are not helping students strive for excellence in the cruise culinary profession. The courses were more generalized one’s and doesn’t emphasize much on the cruise culinary front. The made him feel the immediate need for cruise culinary institute in India, which would be on par with the International cruise Culinary institute which will offer full fledged culinary program much on the lines of the American and European Culinary education patterns.
